On the afternoon of August 5, Pan Feng, Chairman of the Europe-China Economic Development and Cooperation Council and Vice Chairman of the CEATEC, visited the Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce for a working meeting with Director General Liu Dianxun. The two sides exchanged views on matters related to the organization of GIPE 2024.

GIPE 2024 will be held from September 20 to 22 in Luzhou, Sichuan, lasting three days, with Spain as the guest country of honor. This year’s expo will continue to deepen the theme of "Strengthening Geographical Indications Protection • Promoting High-Quality Industrial Development." The expo will feature thousands of products with geographical indications from China and abroad, including teas, wines, foods, fruits and vegetables, and handicrafts.
